Team U.S.A. Reining Wins Gold At 2014 World Equestrian Games

Team U.S.A. Reining, consisting of Mandy McCutcheon, Andrea Fapanni, Shawn Flarida, Jordan Larson, & alternates Troy Heikes & Tom McCutcheon, won the team gold at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games as the U.S.A. has done every time since reining’s inclusion in the Games in 2002. They were up against some stiff competition especially from Belgium who won silver & Austrian who took home the bronze. The competition is growing tougher every WEG thanks to the international growth of reining as a whole. For an inside look at the Team U.S.A. Reining riders & horses, as Tom McCutcheon’s Virtual Horse Help traveled & lived with them throughout the WEG, click HERE.
